Social engineering at its best.
Kind of funny when a mook who barely graduated high school and didn't
have the smarts to get into a community college -that would be you-
tries to denigrate Carl Sagan. Sagan earned a doctorate in astrophysics
from the University of Chicago when that really meant something. You
were a grunt in the marines.
I love the guy, serious good science for the most part. The real
problems are two fold:
1) Our own social stupidity as a species, over population, war
mongering, debt, irrational behaviors and greed.
2) Some meteor or asteroid could end it all, like the dinosaurs.
The least of our problems is CO2, as in the most bio diverse time in
earths history, carbon and temperatures were considerably higher than
today. That coal, oil and other carbon didn't get there by itself, it
was once all living mater and in the atmosphere.
More real issues like Japanese plutonium in the Pacific get ignored. As
does our out of control birth rates.

Government isn't the solution to the bad economy, it is the problem.
