Hello! I, Wilbur Hubbard, still endeavour to post timely and on-topic
material. HarryK hasn't been too disruptive lately. He's started his own
moderated forum that he censors so that seems to have improved his sour
disposition and assuage his bully tendencies.

Unfortunately, we now have some PUTZ who is sending libelous posts and
threatening posts via anonymous remailers. That type of thing makes for
enough clutter that it drives some serious subscribers away. I try to add
valid and original perspective input based upon my long years of sailing
(wind-powered sailing), cruising and living aboard. I have a lot to offer
but there is a small group of detractors led by one Bruce in Bangkok who
would rather resort to insults and ad hominems than to address the
salient
points of my posts.

But, the way to overcome these kinds of distractions is to just ignore or
killfile the distractions and off-topic crap and then to post interesting
cruising-related material yourself.

You've fallen for another ID spoofer, Willie. The "Tuuk" to whom he refers
and isn't was a crazy guy from Thailand who spent his time in rec.boats
threatening to visit and beat up posters he didn't like. This new "Tuuk"
is just one of the regular ID spoofing morons that populate rec.boats
these days. He's trolling and he caught you.

Looks like he "caught" the anonymous stalker, too. LOL! But, that's neither
here nor there, IMO. What if somebody takes a "spoofer" seriously? Maybe
they might just add some serious input? When people like you attempt to
marginalize them don't you think that might be motivation for them to
disrupt instead of stay on-topic?

LOL! A great example of beauty being in the eye of the beholder. When you
don't allow insults you set yourself up as judge, jury and jailor of what
exactly is an insult, you play the role of tyrant. And, then you have the
NERVE to say that is not censorship? Harry, you are a HOOT! Remove the log
from your own eye before you worry about the splinter in somebody else's.
