Anyone using it? I'm thinking of switching from Cox, who just raised all their rates about 15%.

FIOS is the wave of the future with internet, TV and telephone all
riding on one big data pipe. The real key is quality of service.
Verizon is doing very well with that in some areas, not so much in
others.

We're using a Verizon Wireless 4G air card (Pantech UML290) on the
boat this summer. Service varies from spectacularly good to
spectacularly poor, sometimes within minutes.

Well, this should be a little more dependable (I guess). The cable is already buried in my front
yard, but I don't know if anyone around here has signed up for it.

I'm thinking if I switch and take advantage of the current offer ($99 for one year) that Cox will
then start offering me deals to get me back. What the hey. Might be worth the hassle.

Call up Cox and tell them you are thinking of switching to Verizon and
see what Cox has to say.
