The demise of the ethanol subsidy for fuels is the best thing to
happen to boating in the past few years. In many places, it has
become very difficult to get ethanol free fuels to operate boat motors
and ethanol in boat fuels has caused major problems and even destroyed
many boat motors. Fuel explosions have even occurred on boats due to
the ethanol dissolving fuel lines.
It has been known for a long time that making ethanol from corn is an
energy sink, it takes more energy to produce the ethanol than energy
saved. Even worse, it drive up the cost of food and causes vehicles
to be less fuel efficient.
Why did it take a Republican house to finally do what anybody with
more than two neurons could see needed to be done?
CONGRESS FINALLY DID SOMETHING RIGHT.

I guess enough good republicans and a good brain day. Not all repulicans
are good, some are fleabaggers. But on a good day fleabaggers don't vote.

You fellows don't seem to get anything right. The votes in question were
in the Senate, not the House, and is opposed by most teabagger Republicans.

Who cares, less subsidies, less taxes, less government is always good.
Fleabaggers are too selfish and needy screw ups to understand why.

Government isn't the solution to the bad economy, it is the problem.
