I think they've always been Hypalon - you must be thinking of another brand.

Are you sure Avons are Hypalon? I thought they were PVC, and thus, POS'.
Nothing lasts forever, but PVC is especially bad in sunlight.

Any suggestions - the glues I've tried - both 1 and 2 part - give up
after a few years of constant use. Even Avon can't seem to get the
