He also admitted he lied and will fully cooperate with the ethics
committee when Pelosi asked for an investigation. Not too many
Republicans willing to do that.

He admitted he lied because he felt the noose tightening around his neck.
Only then did he give a teary-eyed confession and apology. Took a week.
He has no choice but to fully cooperate with the ethics committee.
He's trying desperately to keep his job. *Why?* escapes me.

Why is this so important to you? Did you have the same public outrage
when Foley, Haggard, Craig, Allen, Murphy, Ensign, Vitter, Lee,
Duvall, Sanford, Fossella, Boutin, Gingrich, Sherwood, West,
LaTourette, Giuliani, Hyde, Chenoweth-Hage, Livingston, Packwood, or
Calvert (and there are others) lied, cheated, and refused to tell the
truth for weeks, months, years, and some never?

I suppose you were saying that it wasn't that bad and they should be
able to stay in office.

I'm saying that they did far worse than Weiner and fought to stay in
office, all the while denying what they'd done for months and some
still to this day.

Why is it that republicans are considered guilty until proven innocent
and democrats are innocent until proven guilty? Could it be that whole
moral core (or lack thereof) thing with progressives??

I'm saying that you're a right wing reactionary, who seems to take
what people like Palin say seriously. Why don't you try and change the
wiki on Revere like some of your buddies. Yeah, some right wingers
tried to change history to match Palin's lunatic version.
