Had mine done in concrete with aggregate stone finish. Never have to
worry about it that way.

Part of the reason I used stone and not wood, BBQ -- only you think
aggregate finished concrete burns...


It's a gas grill, and no more likely to cause a fire than the gas grill
we have in the kitchen.
