OK, so you got laid off due to Obamanomics so you figure you'll get in
some fishing, take the boat out and enjoy some of that time off. You
go to fill her up and WTF, gas is $5.00/gallon, another causualty of
Obamanomics. While filling up you notice that your gas now has 15%
ethanol made from corn under Obamanomics, crap, no wonder breakfast
cereal is nearly $5.00/box. When you calculate your vehicles mpg, you
notice it has dropped, time for a tuneup? No, another casualty of
Obamanomics, ethanol reduces fuel efficiency.
So, how's that Hope and Change going?

I just thought I'd let you know....

$1.36 per litre X 4.55 litres in ONE Imperial Gallon = $6.18 per
gallon.

Thats what we're paying NOW, up here.

D'mericans use the US gallon, 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres.

Thus with US gallon in mind, $5.18 CAD per gallon, or about $5.42 US per
US gallon.

Yep, a US buck isn't what it used to be. Too much ponzi counterfeiting
going on in DC.

WTF??? I was only saying that we're paying MORE than THEY are now.

Our Gas stations measure by the IMPERIAL gallon.....doh !!! But you
knew that, right?

Always been like that. US gallon is about 4/5ths of an Imperial gallon.
But historically, Canadian gas has been much higher per gallon, ether
gallon.

The gap has closed because the USD dollar fell much faster than the CAD.
It is why Canada is seeing less inflation spikes than the US is.

So while de-fumer thinks I left USA because I can't go there, well, I
had my reasons. Which included cashing in quite a bit of USDs in 2004
for 70 cents, then watching the wad make 15% year over year in
oil/precious metals and rise to above par as a tax free bonus. See, I
could see 2008 coming and I was only off by 18 months but saved a
bundle, made a bundle and laughing all the way to the bank. But the
best part, I don't have to pay fleabagger taxes any more.

Priceless. And just found out I can get a Panama permanent visa with a
citizenship option. Go figure. Might be time to move again...
