I suspect they have been there for awhile. Used to see them at the weir
at Port Washington. I could be wrong, but sure looks the same.

Maybe start harvesting them. Bate the weirs, net them when they come in
and make cat food and fertilizer out of them. Same with the ones in the
river in Chicago, the ones that jump.
