It's not about caring, it's about your definition of middle class, and
as a secondary issue, what is the proper role of government,
especially the federal government.
It is very easy to be empathetic with someone else's money. The end
of socialism is when there is no one left to pick up the tab. That
day may be closer than you think.
Actually, it is about caring. The proper role of gov't is all about
caring or not caring about its citizens.
You keep touting this "socialism" thing, when in reality we mostly
live in a socialistic society. Too bad you don't like it. Move to
Liberia.
