The trawler is our second home. Having a second home is something of
a middle class tradition where I come from.

Perpetual vacation? That's called retirement by most people. I'm
not really retired however. My new occupations are investment
management and boat maintenance work. :-)


A second home... one of which is a gas hog. Wow... where I come from,
and where most people come from, they only have one home, and if
they're lucky they can make the mortgage payments.

For most people, retirement means living simply and cutting back on
most of the extras.

Sounds to me like you're delusional if you think what you have is
middle class.
