He's toned his rhetoric down since he was governor.

Don't you mean toned it up? Was he not governor before?

I wish he would not WWF style sensationalize it, but many of the
principles of a government that is not so simple as it appears I do
subscribe too. Including the corruption. Great efforts are made to
make sure a sufficient amount of the right people get to rule us.
