but still a new toy. *It won't tow the boat, but it will get us to the
marina in style. *;-

Very nice. I don't know years of vette's in the modern day but I know I
don't like a lot of the lines. That one though, looks real nice. Love
the color too...
I know what you mean. I'm not a big fan of the C5's... they just
don't have the proportions quite right. This is a C6, and I think
they got the lines on this generation right. Through the 80's and
90's they rode really rough, but the C6's have finally got the
suspension sorted out so they ride very nice while having better
handling than the old ones. This one is a 2008 that has 4900 miles on
it. Some lady bought it for a weekend fun car, and barely drove it.
It still smells new.
You are right about the proportions, dead on beautiful job they did with
that.
My wife is a Challenger fan and had a 71 in the day. We see the new
Challenger going down the road and it's just too tall, too stubby. The
new Camasshole**.. 'er, uh, Camaro doesn't cut it either. Ford on the
other hand pretty much nailed it with the Mustang in my opinion, and
although not a Ford guy, I like the car, even the wild colors.
It's nice to see Chevy get it back with the Vette... Have fun with the
car..
**Everytime a Camassohle or a Monte Carlo came into the garage, my bud
would hold up the "a-hole" sign with his hand. If you ever worked in the
service dept for Chevy, and saw the guys who drove these thing into the
shop, you would know why
