The Canon "EF" and "EF-S" lenses fit the Canon DSLRs. The lenses for the
"crop" Canon DSLRs, however, don't work properly opticaly on a
full-frame Canon SLR or DSLR.

The DSLR lines of Canon and Nikon are very competitive.
