i have an inboard with a prop shaft. any idea how to lubricate the
prop shaft bearing?
Cutlass bearing? Prior to launch? I'd put a small amount of silicone
grease on it, nothing else. It is supposed to be water cooled and
lubricated.
ah, very good. thanks much
I was going to say,t hat I've got the whole assembly from my old Chris
Craft and I've never seen any point of lubrication on it. No grease
zirk... nothing. So I'm with *Wayne on this too.
good to know. seems to be in good shape for old boat and it's a
trawler so doesnt operate at high speeds...thanks tim. hope it's
getting to be spring there in IN. here in PA we're expecting snow on
Wed...
Bob, I think you're going to get what we just had. a 2 to 3 incher
that was light and fluffy. after a couple days the sun popped out and
the stuff was gone in 4 hrs.
