You know.... when you willingly buy next to your neighbors... it is
incumbent on YOU to make friends with them.....
this guy must be from another (unfriendly) planet. If all he gets is
(in your face) pig races, he's lucky. Such huevos....
At the end of the block is a circle. A house full of Mexicans, with about eight
to ten cars is at the very end, and next to him lives Mohammed, his wife, and
two very nice daughters. Mohammed has a rough time with written English, and he
often asks me for help with things like new lawn mowers, gas edger, etc.
Mohammed has lived in his house for as long as we've been here, but the Mexicans
moved in about five years ago. The Mexicans didn't bother asking Mohammed
anything, they just started using his front lawn as a driveway when their
driveway was full and the guy closest to the house needed out.
Mohammed asked me for help. He's afraid to call the police, because he's afraid
of the Mexicans. I offered to help him put up a decorative fence between the
properties. He's not decided yet.
Interesting quandary.
I thought you lived in an area with Deed Restrictions and an HOA. If
so, sounds simple.... if not, there are other issues:
Health Department: septic system overload or restrictions of occupancy
vs square footage?
Landlord: who is on the lease?
in any event, a little old fashion communication would at least clear
the air about who is standing what ground.....
Hopefully, Herring's "Mexican" neighbors are in MS-13.
Too bad they haven't tried to invade your home.
When they get wind of Harry's comprehensive armory, they'll be paying
him a visit, for sure.
