A question for y'all. Guys, do you believe it is expected to go all out
and spend all your money on an engagement ring to please your girl?
Short answer, no. Buy what you can reasonable afford and forget the
diamond sales persons crap.
You can always upgrade later on the 10th anniversay when you hopefully
have more cash.
Women, does the amount spent on the ring actually increase how much
love you feel for your man?
I am not a woman but if money makes a difference, I would leave the
woman. I would not wait for her to leave me. In fact my wife didn't know
what Iw as worth for 5 years, a tightly held secret...
If you have money, you learn to keep it quiet unless all you want is
paid sluts as the GF. I wanted a partner.
I dont have a ton of money in my amount of money but the ring I hinted
at for my potential wife the other day she said was to small so that
sucked and now I don't know what to do. So, what's your felling about
this?
Talk it over now. If you can't work it out with both of you smiling then
maybe you can spare the divorce fees now. Better now than in 10 years.
Modern Barbie comes with all of Ken's things.
Marriage is sort of defunct anyway. I say this as if it isn't in the
heart -- paper and a ring mean nothing but legal fees. In the end it is
about a lover + friend + trust == happy marriage. A ring isn't needed at
all.
Often people get married and only have 1/3 rd the equasion, lust/lover.
I made that mistake the first time around that is how come I know. But I
got wise the second time.
Talk it over. Suggest that the two of you be better to save more for the
home, babies...also lets her know you are serious as the trade off.
Never go broke for a silly ring, the ring is a symbol at best. You don't
make love or friends with a ring.
Don't underestimate the womans need for security. Knocked up, security
maters more than rings, the pawn shop is full of them.
So, you hate and fear women, too, eh?
