I am on my third set of trailer lights. Each has died due to salt

with the so-called Bell JAr concept. Does ANYBODY have reccs for
lights?

Put your trailer lights on a PT 1x4 and take them off before you dunk
the trailer. I keep mine in the garage. Drill a hole in each end of
the board, thread a bungee cord through it, Tie a knot on the end.
(I cut one 4' cord in half to make this)

Yes. I did something similar for the trailer on my old runabout and
it worked just fine since they never get dunked. You just need to
remember to remove them before backing in. A secondary advantage is
that the lights end up higher and are therefore easier to see.
