I guess I should have been more clear. I didn't mean to imply that the singer of
the song was a liberal, but that the song was intended, by me, to placate the
liberals here who can't abide patriotic songs (about *this* country).
You are misinterpreting the reaction. It has more to do with the person
presenting the songs here and his motivations for doing so than the
songs themselves. Some of us consider racist right-wingers like
you...unpatriotic.
