I think the way to solve city problems is to change the way cities
operate. They need to be for profit corporations. Home owners own the
city government. They want raises, they have to get the votes directly
from the OWNERs and not greasy politicians. And no more loans,
grandfather existing stuff. But cash as you go.
I was going to buy a winter property, but after looking at the
city/country/state financial position I backed off. No sense in moving
in where you have irate, irrational and greedy debtors to contend with.
