I would posit: Since Paul has graced rec.boats with his presence all of
his post have been insults or snarky comments.

If Paul was interested in a NG that was more interesting and less
abusive he would not engage in that behavior.

Obviously, it is not within his interest.

This is an example of his "snarky" post. All of his other posts today
were his "insult" posts.
