YOU ARE RIGHT ON!!

That was the talk of the local talk radio show this morning. I can't believe we
let someone do that to our National Anthem on a program as televised as the
Super Bowl.

The dumb ass didn't even know the words. Friggin' waste.

In her defense... She does know the words and has performed the Anthem
at many Professional Sports events including and mostly in the NBA...

How many million folks were listening, she may have been a bit nervous
with the folks sitting there watching?

How good was her monitor (remember, she is singing acapella which in
that situation means, you don't hear anything)?

It's not an easy song, especially to sing it under those circumstances
can challenge even the greatest voices in the world, and indeed it has,
many more times than you obviously remember.

I have nothing for Christina, good voice, still just another "if I pull
my skirt over my head, will you buy my records" female "rockstar"..
Certainly not the soul maven she would wish to emulate. But at the same
time, she has a decent voice and I am pretty sure she came into this gig
with all of the focus and good intent you would expect from any
professional... Get off her back, or go sing the anthem somewhere
sometime, acapella, with headphones on playing something else, in front
of everybody in the world you count of to make a living, friends family,
peers, the President of the USA!!!... Then come and talk to me.....

Just sayin' I have worked "acapella" and solo on stage in a quiet
atmosphere, and it ain't easy...

Perhaps if she had just tried to sing the song straight, without adding 37
syllables to every word, she wouldn't have screwed it up so badly.

This isn't the first time the ditsy broad has performed publicly. For some
reason she found it necessary to make The Star Spangled Banner 'her own' with
all the additional bull****.

Pressure, my ass.

Tim is spot on.
