Since most are illegal aliens in the US, it's isn't the minimum wage

Where did I say anything about minimum wage? In fact a good picker
will make almost twice the minimum wage according to your source.

Maybe the reason you have so many illegals there is because the state
of California will not try to find them (declaring many cities
"sanctuaries") and hinders the efforts of ICE. We don't have that
problem here. Our cops already check immigration status on any arrest.
We have a "Real ID" driver's license too.

Or, maybe it's because we try not to treat people like dirt.

No you don't ."Dirt" has legal protection in real estate law.
Promoting illegal immigration is simply a way to exploit cheap labor.
If they were "legal" they would have the protections of the law.

You believe I'm promoting illegal immigration? Show me where I've done
that. Doesn't matter if someone is here legally or illegally. They
still have rights.

It sure sounds like you support illegal immigration. You certainly
fight any effort to return the illegals.
As long as we have illegals here who will work for substandard wages
it cannibalizes the legitimate labor market it drives down the cost of
labor for everyone.

Geez, now you have me talking like Harry

I do? Please show me where I said that I do that.

It does NOT drive down the wages of "everyone." That's nonsense. I
suppose you're going to claim doctors/lawyers have to take lower wages
because of migrant farm workers...
