Default Clean and Lube Job

Fishing reels, of course. Why, what was on your dirty mind? :)

Guy at the club, a retired engineer, keeps busy in the winter taking
apart, cleaning, repairing and lubing fishing reels. I'm bringing mine
over to him this week. I don't have any big reels, but they are all
decent and I've had most of them for 10 years or more. I pay $20 a reel,
plus the cost of any significant parts. The guy has lots of parts.
Anyone else do this?

I think the annual dusting and cleaning helps keep my reels trouble-free
during the fishing season. Obviously, for $20 a reel, the guy isn't
interested in making money, but just keeping busy.
