Maybe Bob's middle class didn't but certainly a lot of other middle
class folks did better by any reasonable measure. I'd agree that a
lot of that was the result of two income families and better job
opportunities for women. Of course the unfortunate result of better
opportunities for women meant fewer for guys with marginal skils or
work ethic.
