Wires Thru Mast -- Easy
To reduce the slapping of the harness when the boat rolled, I once used a
shop-vac to blow styrofoam peanuts into a mast. It did the job.

Once saw some of the Moorings guys suck a messenger line through a mast laid
out on the dock using a shopvac. As I remember they had something light
attached to the end of the line for the vacuum to "get hold of"- worked a
treat.
