This will have wide ranging implications for the bay, hopefully for
the better.
As a water quality guy I have to say this is long overdue but I expect
a lot of pushback from the farmers, particularly the Frank Purdue
empire on the Eastern Shore but this can affect people all the way up
to Binghampton NY and beyond. I know when I was bass fishing in the
Susquahanna up there I was thinking I could put a message in a bottle
and have someone find it in Hampton Roads
Fertilizer will now be sold out of the back of vans instead of really
big speakers.
