carry at least a 9mm, not a .22, for a reason. Years ago, I bought my wife
her first gun, a Browning .380. She was comfortable enough with the recoil
to not sacrifice accuracy. However, I can't think of any reason a real man
would carry a concealed weapon (within reason) based on "acceptable recoil"
vs. a knockdown potential found necessary by the militaries and police.
Take stock of the fellows you are defending. They like to discuss, name, and
