Educated people would start with the plug connection to the outlet
before they run to a computer looking for help in a newsgroup overrun by
political wackos.

Considering the fact that you have extremely poor eyesight, a smart
person would use a flashlight.

If your charger is in the bilge, you should expect a problem.
