Bob Corker of Tennessee and Bob Bennett of Utah wrote to Energy Secretary
Steven Chu and top Energy Department officials asking them to consider
particular recipients for stimulus dollars in 2009.

They were against President Obama's stimulus program but they lobbied for
stimulus funds for companies in their congressional districts.

They lobbied and fought against healthcare reform, but their Lemon Pledge is
just fine with keeping the 6 or 7 most popular provisions. The ones they
were dead set against.
