Subject: Teakdecking

Well, a teak tree is a renewable resource. Synthetic decking like Tek-Dek is
made from petroleum products. Now which one would the environmentalists have
us choose?

Kinda like: What do you do if you see an endangered animal eating an
endangered plant?

Much like many sail boaters who spout off about how much more environmentally
friendly a sail boat is compared to a power boat while ignoring their teak
decks, teak interior, nylon sails, Freon charged aircon/fridge, gelcoated or
urethane painted hull, synthetic lines, diesel engine/genset, lead acid
batteries, gas powered outboard, Hypalon tender, etc., etc...

And yes, I sail. :-)
