Personally, I'm not jealous, I'm sickened that you accept a gift of
any denomination. I don't take a dime from my parents. Dinner is
always on me. I buy them vacations and I'm happy with a simple card
on my birthday. They aren't destitute - since you will try to jump on
that. They are actually very well off.
