That is a good solution if you are a selfish git who doesn't care that you
are putting at risk the livelihood of the person who hires you the boat.
Here in France the hirer is held responsible - and gets very large fines,
equipment confiscated, and even a jail sentence - if he hires to somebody
who has no or forged documents.
