Default Charleston Boatyards info needed

Charleston Boatyards info needed

Hi, y'all,

We have a wedding to go to in Charleston next spring and want to kill two
birds with one stone by getting boat work done on what may be (famous last
words) the last time Flying Pig sees the US mainland before we have to get
off the boat.

Charleston is several hours closer to the activity we'd do other than the
wedding during our time ashore, so we're considering basing in Charleston as
opposed to our previously expected yard in Fernandina Beach.

We have three requirements, all of which are met by our previously expected
yard, Tiger Point Marina, with whom we'd been very happy in the past:

The yard must accept our self-insured status

The yard must allow us doing some work on our boat, and living aboard during
that time (during which time we'd expect daily lay day charges)

Bottom job and other work done by the yard will allow us to not pay storage
during the time the boat is there while _we're_ not working on the boat

Recommendations?

As I have sometimes-limited access to broadband, which limits my ability for
web-based applications, if you'll also copy responses me directly at
I'd very much appreciate it.

Thanks, so much...
