If Gasohol is bad for motors, it is GREAT for pressure alcohol stoves.

Alcohol for my pressure (Homestrand) two-burner stove is now about 14

So, I fooled the greedy *******s! I now burn gasohol in my alcohol stove.
I
mix it 50/50 and it not only burns hotter and boils water faster but it
will
turn way down for simmering without spitting and going out. (Oh, I finally
figured out what caused the spitting. It's water in the alcohol that
condenses under the dome of the burner and erupts into steam from time to
time.)
Try it, you'll like it. Saves big bucks.

Great idea. Wait until the Fourth of July and I'll come and watch from
a distance.
You're probably bend your Pipe-Boom © with the explosion.
Might be the only thing left.
