Boaters vs Desert Folks

Pass the popcorn.
The liberal San Francisco (sanctuary city for lawbreakers)9th Circuit
Court, on the bay full of boaters.
Versus
The people of arid Arizona beset by the expense and crime brought upon
by illegal immigrants preying upon their state.
The issues:
1. Does Federal immigration law have relevance in the U.S.A., if those
laws can be breached with impunity?
Yes, but there is an argument to be made for the AZ law. I'm guessing
that'll happen pretty quickly. I think it will be struck down by the SCOTUS,
but you never know.
2. What rights do states have to defend themselves from foreign invasion
when the Federal Government lays down?
If that were true, that would be a legitimate question. Perhaps you should
talk to the Republicans who are at least equally culpable when it comes to
sitting on their hands about border security. FYI, the AZ law has very
little if anything to do with border security. That's just a red
herring/fear thing put out by nut jobs.
3. Is a country with no borders a "country?"
How about the country of the mind?
4. If Mexicans were black Jamaicans and wouldn't cut grass or wash
dishes or clean house real cheap for well-off "middle class" Democrats
and Republicans who are too lazy or stupid to do those chores
themselves, and want cheap restaurant staff because they don't even
really know how to cook anymore, would there even be an "illegal
immigration problem?"
I think we should round up all the Albanians (reference to Tune in Tomorrow
movie), which I just saw again.
(This might be stated as: Is it okay to be an "economic" racist if it's
just a Mexican wetback? Hell, he's illegal anyway, right?)
Jim - Those questions need answering. Being a boater I recuse myself
from judgment in the matter.
