I used to want one of those but changed my druthers to a small
houseboat on
a trailer and be able to catch some different scenery from time to
time.
Sounds like a good retirement goal..

I've thought of parking something similar (only a bit more modern) on
my pontoon boat for about the same reason. I mean barg IS a 30 ft'r.

There is a pretty neat house boat on the CT River across from Harbor
Park, I will try to get a shot one day. Probably more popular in other
areas, but here, not so much.. Yellow and bright Green too.
