More crap.
It isn't crap. Obama captured the racist vote and got elected.
What is
hard to understand about that.
Was Obama a war hero? Nope.
Did Obama do anything really notable before being elected? Nope.
Has Obama ran his own sucessful business? Nope
Any background in economics? Nope.
His tenature in the state riddled with corruption. Yep.
So how did he get the vote?
He got a lot of the vote because his opponent was just this side of
senility, and his opponent's running mate was and is an uninformed
moron.
I do not count service to the country as a negative in a president.
Usually people who believe having prior military experience is a
detriment are themselves cowards and selfish ignorant types. No balls.
Actually, it is a hugely positive to have military service. Less ivory
tower idealism gets to theater if the president has a clue. And
Obama is
clueless.
So you think Obama, never raised in American until 12, knows little of
US armed forces, makes a suitable leader of the the US war machine?
Do you let your kids boat without training too?
I don't believe McCain's "military experience" counts for much in the
21st century, and he wussed out big time in torture, considering
he was tortured.
The biggest albatross around his neck may have been Sarah Palin. While
she motivated "the base" of the GOP, she's such a ninny, she turned
off a lot of voters. As she will in 2012 if she is dumb enough to make
a go of it.
That is one of the most denigrating and insulting thing I've ever heard.
How would you hold up to torture? It is not someone hitting you in the
shoulder one time.
McCain was an Honorable Soldier.
i don't agree with many of his politics but I won't attack his service
and sacrifice.
D'oh. I wasn't commenting on McCain's bravery while he was in prison, State Department
and what he had to do to survive torture, but, rather, his flip-flopping
on the the torture issue during the Bush mis-administration and later.
He was against torture before he was for it.
Apologies.
There is the idea of getting the information out of the scum bags to
save our Men's lives any way we can until someone says hey that is not
how we do things, we are civilized.
Whether McCain had qualms or whether he was pandering to which side
might give the most votes is uncertain.
I wouldn't want to be responsible for anyone's torture but...If water
boarding one of the scum would have saved one of the victims the Muslims
videoed decapitating slowly or save just one, of our Troop's, lives I
would have done it.
