Running a generator all night is risky for a number of reasons, not
the least of which is carbon monoxide poisoning. CO is the easiest
risk to mitigate however since detectors are resonably priced and
readily available. Everyone with an enclosed cabin should have one
since CO can accumulate from "station wagon effect" while underway, or
from other nearby boats while anchored.


And get the ones with the constant LCD readout, and not the ones that scream
when you're 50ppm over the pass out level, and can't hear it. Except as a
faint sound as you go through the tunnel of light
