actually it did. the economy was growing. now that the money is spent,

welcome to 1929 courtesy of the right wing
That this despression is about debtors not paying their
bills and that includes Obama/Democrat congress.
Debt whores are destroying the worlds economic system, and #1 debtor
in
the world is now Obama. Spent more debt money than any other human
that
ever lived.
we need to spend MORE to undo the right wing damage. otherwise we'll
never dig ourselves out of this hole the right put us in
Where is the money going to come from? The well is dry.
cut defense spending by 150B...as conservatives have even
recommended...
That doesn't even pay the interes ton Obama's $3 trillion.
Try hacking $1.5 trillion (and rising). That is where you break even.
borrow even more and use it to pump up the economy.
Tried that, does not work. Reagan did better, in less taxes. His only
mistake was not shrinking government to fit.
force companies to distribute productivy increases to their workers
instead of paying dividends to give the middle class a pay increase to
SPEND
What increases? GM went bankrupt sucking over $177 billion in wealth down
the sewer. (not including GMAC)
and implement tax cuts for the MIDDLE CLASS, not the rich, like the
GOP has been doing for 30 years
Funny, finally got around to Reaganomics. Took about 10 months and the
recession ended.
But given the government debt/deficit, hacking away at government waste
with a chain saw is also needed.

We all work for government, they ceased working for us a long time ago.
As usual, you're an idiot.
