I have already been criticized about my guess that he will say Obama
wants to get out before the job was done. (disagreeing with the
timetable was what I said)
Fortunately that guess will be tested on Sunday I imagine so we will
know pretty quickly
Sorry that was a BP thing. He doesn't think that is the way McC is
going.
Sorry, no idea what you're talking about.... something is happening on
Sunday re the general?
The Sunday morning talk shows. I am sure he will be on a couple of
them.
And we care because? He's a disgraced ex-officer who made a fool of himself.
The only thing he did that was positive and appropriate was tender his
resignation.
Disgraced is a stretch. He said some inappropriate things about his
boss but I imagine half the country agrees with him. There are plenty
of people who are not happy with the way the war is going and think we
should be ramping up, not winding down. Bob P seems to be one of them
and calls me a coward because I want to see our kids come home alive.
Ramping up in Afghanistan would get us what, exactly, besides billets
for U.S. military officers?
Preaching to the choir here. I think we should have come home after
Tora Bora. They could have kept a covert team looking for Osama but an
army was not going to catch him.
I don't think the upper echelon wanted to catch Osama.

The bigger government gets, the more it tends to rule out common sense.
