You are talking about the campus just north of MCBOE in Rockville?
They changed their name to Montgomery College in the late 70s, did
they drop the 4 year programs and change back?

It is a two-year institution now.

It's referred to as Harvard on the Pike by the high school kids and a
great deal by parents. Get your associates degree and you can transfer
into the Univ. of Maryland system. It is a great deal if you you don't
have the money to pay for 4 years at UofM or if you can't get into UofM
as a freshmen.

They have three campuses now, Takoma Park, Rockville and Germantown.
