Default No Feedback Rack steering?

brad wrote:
Hi there,

I'm replacing the steering system in my 1993 19.5 foot bass boat.

I can't afford hydraulic so I'm leaning toward getting the Teleflex
No Feedback dual cable rack& pinion system (SS15214). Most people
seem to love it, but a few have said that the No Feedback feels sorta
"stiff". Any opinions on No Feedback? As far as dual cable systems
for bass boats go, is there a better choice?

Thanks!
Brad

They work great. The only stiffness I have encountered is a tiny bit a
resistance when you begin to turn the wheel. After that it's smooth.
I'm not sure how they work but they seem to lock the wheel when you stop
turning it.
