You are replying to a dumb post. Hoping that BRP wwill bring back
Johnson is like hoping GM will bring back Oldsmobile. They already sell
the same product and decided they don't need two wrappers. It's called
consolidation and it makes sense - particularly with today's economy.

The last Evinrude I saw was a Suzuki under an OMC badged cover. Do
they even make engines anymore?

Yup. That was in their early 4-stroke days.
