When I started posting here in the late 90's this was really a cool
and fun boating forum where you could get all kinds of quality
nautical info from a variety of true experts.
look at what's here now.
Boating posts have all but been rooted out by the tag-teamers.
Most boating posts were rooted out years ago by nit-picking "topic
assassins" who went after virtually every knowledge-based post in a sort
of "I know better than you" feeding orgy. That is what drove off the few
boating business professionals we had here, and many of the more
experienced serious boaters.
The off-topic posts don't bother me if they have any sort of useful
information in them, and if they come from posters who have boats or a
demonstrated serious interest in boats. That would exclude a substantial
number of the posters here these days.
Most posters here are political conservatives, and many but not all
seem unable to tolerate those few of us with differing views. They want
only "white-breaders" like them here. One of those morons earlier today
insisted I "demonstate" my religious views were not "heathen."
