It's been 37 days since BP's offshore oil rig, Deepwater Horizon,
exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. Since then, crude oil has been
hemorrhaging into ocean waters and wreaking unknown havoc on our
ecosystem -- unknown because there is no accurate estimate of how many
barrels of oil are contaminating the Gulf.

While I agree, 37 days seems a bit much, in Abu Dabi back in the 90's
with Iraq, fires went a lot longer and were ground accessable. It isn't
as simple as putting a cap on Jim Beam.

Trouble is you are getting sucked into Obama generated hate mongering.

No mention of the Exxon or Tesoro issues on the front pages. But again,
they are failing American companies needing an BS edge that Obama is
willing to provide. Or maybe by now people just expect it from US
companies. Hell, at Tesoro the 6th person just died from a April 2nd
incident and it didn't make the front page.

Making gasoline is dangerious.

Like Toyota, which has a better statistal record than GM for defects, it
is just political hate mongering. And does nothing to plug the leak.
