Nope bribes described as campaign contributions. You realize the
politician
gets the left over money in his campaign funds when he leaves office?
Nice
way to launder a bribe!

They put a stop to that a number of years ago. There were mass exits out
of Congress just so people with huge campaign war chests could keep
them.

I think California legislators still get to keep theirs.
