I've seen lots of gas grills mounted on pontoons, but it seems nobody

or type pedestal marine grill into google.

Do you really want to drill holes and have a pedestal to trip over or
impale you?
I'd look for a clamp-on setup. *Clamp it on when you need it cooking.

Jim - I does like my bbq.

Jim, this barge has pedestal seats already mounted on the fore deck
which are easily detachable from the plate. So I figured I could move
a seat toward the back where there is yet another pre-existing plate
and mount the grill up front. Actually I suppose I could just get a
proper size pipe, cut it to length and mount some type of gas grill on
it, and tha mightbe the easiest way to do it. I've seen a lot of these
semi-permanent grills mounted that way. Of course making a portable
grill to mount on the railing or some other out of the way stucture
isn't a bad idea either.
