I would use it for movies and pictures. It has a microphone, so I think
you
could use it with Skype... not sure about this.


Hadn't thought about that...but...since Apple is controlling the "apps"for
the device, and use of Skype would interfere with sales growth of its
iPhone, I wonder if and when it would be available. It definitely is not a
phone as delivered. The iPad does a very nice job with movies and still
photos...saw that demonstrated at the local apple store this past
saturday.

I have skype on my iPhone. Works fine.

I have no experience with Iphones. You have AT&T and you are able to go
around it via Skype? You make calls without using AT&T at all? That's cool.

I suspect there would have to be an iPad specific app for that to
happen...I can't see apple allowing that.
