The powers that be willing, my wife will be "Dr. Karen" sometime this
year, and there is no achievement in my life or hers that will make me
prouder. It'll be one hell of an accomplishment, far outreaching
anything I have ever done or even considered doing in the "academic" world.

Meanwhile, you'll still be working odd jobs holding up STOP or GO signs
at road repaving jobsites, and your wife will still be looking skyward
every time you are in the same room with her.
